Designers are always looking for exciting tools to level up their game. I keep bookmarking resources that have appealed to me and my team. Let me share six resources in design that I have found helpful for my work.
1. Magic Eraser
This is an extremely handy tool that helps you remove unwanted portions of an image. Especially useful if you want to remove logos or other distracting pieces from the stock illustrations you would like to use on your website or landing pages.
2. Image Enhancer
You would have got the right image but if it is of bad resolution then it is not usable for your website. You can upscale your images without losing or compromising on the quality of your images.
3. Dark Mode Design
This website is a showcase of beautifully designed pages that are made for dark mode. A must-visit repository if you are thinking of designing for dark mode.
4. Saas Landing Pages
If you are looking for inspiration for your next design project for SaaS, look no further. You can access good examples of landing pages, checkout, pricing, and testimonial sections.
5. Design Shortcuts
This is a one-place repository of all the keyboard shortcuts on both Mac and Windows across various design tools like Figma, Framer, Invision and many more. These shortcuts are searchable, so you can quickly access the shortcuts you are looking for.
6. Untools
A better thinker is always a better designer. The last resource I recommend is not a fancy tool to do something magical. It is a collection of thinking frameworks that would allow you to apply your critical thinking and solve problems and make decisions (for yourself or your team).
We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. - Albert Einstein
